Laminated Glass

Laminated glass is a type of safety glass produced by bonding two or more layers of ordinary annealed or tempered glass together with one or more interlayer(s). When broken, numerous cracks appear, but glass fragments tend to adhere to the interlayer.

Laminated glass is widely used when there is a possibility of human impact or where the glass could fall if shattered, and for architectural applications. Generally, it is used to ensure and provide safety, security, sound control and energy control. The typical applications of laminated glass include:

  • Glass Balustrade

  • Staircase Glass

  • Shopfront Glass

  • Skylight Glazing

  • Garden Canopy

  • Aquariums

  • Facade Systems

  • Display Cases

  • Windows & Doors
